About Us

Vision
Mission
Our mission is to bring hope and wholeness to the people of the Walla Walla Valley.
Our vision is to build a community where God’s unconditional love is expressed through resources and services to revitalize the whole person.
Founded
SonBridge was founded in 2005 by eight church congregations in the area.
History
SonBridge is an organization founded in 2005 by eight church congregations in the Valley. After the building was purchased in 2005, staff and volunteers from the community held Sunday work bees to complete the year-long task of remodeling for the opening of the Thrift Store. By 2014, the medical/dental wing of SonBridge was completed, and by 2017, the Education Center for Better Living was completed.
Key elements of the SonBridge approach are to connect service agencies with other service agencies and connecting persons with resources. After this is done, there are often gaps. SonBridge identifies these gaps and creates programs and services to meet the needs.
SonBridge Center for Better Living is devoted to providing help to the underserved. Thanks to the ongoing support of volunteers, SonBridge is able to provide services and resources for people in need in the Walla Walla Valley.
